Cancellation and “No Show” Policies
At NutriKiss, our goal is to provide quality nutrition care in a timely manner. We also want our assessments and counseling therapy appointments to be as unhurried as possible. In order to be respectful of the nutritional counseling needs of the community, please be courteous and call, email, or text our office promptly if you are unable to attend an appointment.
Appointments
We will call or text you in order to confirm your appointment. Please call or text us back at 770.597.7974 to confirm that you can still attend your appointment at the scheduled time.
Rescheduling / Cancellations
We kindly ask that you make every effort to arrive on time and if it is necessary to cancel or move your scheduled appointment, please notify us 48 hours in advance.
If you fail, without justification, to provide a 48-hour advanced cancellation notice, we reserve the right to either charge $50.00 for your missed consultation, deduct one session from your prepaid series of nutrition counseling sessions, or for repeated offenses, dismiss you from our office.
Receiving cancellation information in advance allows us to schedule and serve other patients and clients.
“No Show” for Appointments
A “no show”* is considered missing an appointment without canceling it within 48 hours (2 business days in advance). A failure to present at the time of a scheduled appointment will be recorded in your electronic medical chart as a “no show”. An administrative fee of $50.00 will be billed to your account or we will deduct one session from your prepaid series of nutrition counselling sessions, or for repeated offenses, dismiss you from our office.
* Late cancellations will be considered a “no show”.
**Please note that “no show” charges are your responsibility and will not be billed to your insurance company.
